By using The Tallow Pantry website, you agree to the following Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use this website or place an order.
1) Ordering
- All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include Goods and Services Tax (GST) where applicable.
- We reserve the right to correct errors in pricing or product descriptions. If an error affects your order, we may cancel the order and refund you, or contact you to confirm whether you wish to proceed at the corrected price.
- When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase. An order is accepted once payment is processed and you receive an order confirmation.
- We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders (for example, due to stock limitations, suspected fraud, or obvious pricing errors). If we cancel after payment is taken, we will issue a refund.
2) Products
- Our balms are handmade with care using natural ingredients.
- Due to the nature of handcrafted products, slight variations in colour, texture, and appearance can occur between batches (this is normal).
- All information on this site is for general guidance and not a medical prescription.
- Our products are for external cosmetic use only unless clearly stated otherwise on the product label.
3) Patch testing and sensitivities
Skin sensitivities vary between individuals. We recommend patch testing before first use and discontinuing use if irritation occurs.
4) Shipping & delivery
Shipping options, costs, dispatch timeframes, and delivery estimates are shown at checkout and/or in our Shipping Policy. Delivery timeframes are estimates only and may be affected by factors outside our control (carrier delays, peak periods, weather events).
Please ensure your delivery address is correct. If a parcel is returned due to an incorrect/incomplete address or non-collection, additional shipping fees may apply to resend.
5) Returns & refunds
Due to the nature of our products, we do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind (including ordering the wrong item, preference changes, or ordering by mistake).
If your order arrives damaged, faulty, or incorrect, please contact us and we will work with you to provide an appropriate remedy in line with Australian Consumer Law. Please refer to our Returns & Refunds Policy for full details.
6) Limitation of liability
- We are not responsible for allergic reactions or misuse of products. Products should be used as directed.
- To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this website or our products. Where liability cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law, our liability is limited to the remedies available under that law.
7) Intellectual property
- All content, branding, and original images on this site are owned by The Tallow Pantry.
- Some images are sourced from third-party stock providers (e.g., Unsplash) and are used under the respective licenses.
- Unauthorised copying, redistribution, or commercial use of site content or images is prohibited.
8) Third-party links
Our website may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third parties.
9) Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on this website is the current version. Continued use of the website after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
